Your Card

Your card is made at the standard QSL size, 5.5 × 3.5 inches, at 300 dpi. Print it on heavy card stock, or upload the PNG to an online print shop. Your details stay in your own browser and are never sent to the club.

What Is a QSL Card?

A QSL card is a postcard that confirms a two-way radio contact. After you talk with another station, you each send a card with your callsign, location and the details of the contact. Many hams collect cards from every state and country they reach. In addition, paper cards count toward awards like Worked All States and DXCC.

How to Use the QSL Card Designer

Start with your station details. If you do not know your grid square, tap Find my grid, and your browser works it out from your location. After that, choose a background and decide whether to show the contact box and the ACURA badge. Finally, click Download PNG to save the card, or Print Card to print it on heavy card stock.

Sending Your QSL Cards

You can mail cards directly to the other station. For overseas contacts, the ARRL QSL Service forwards cards in bulk and saves postage. Many hams also confirm contacts online through Logbook of the World. Still, nothing beats a colorful card in the mailbox. In fact, many hams pin their favorite cards on the wall above the radio. With a South Jersey photo on yours, your card will stand out on walls around the world, and it will tell everyone where ACURA calls home.
