New Ham & Upgrade Wall

Every call sign on this wall belongs to someone who sat down at an ACURA Volunteer Examiner session and passed. Some earned their very first license. Others moved up to General or Amateur Extra. Either way, the whole club is proud of them — congratulations, and welcome to the air!

How the wall works

• You choose. Only people who agree to be listed ever appear here. Our VE team asks on test day, and nobody is added without a yes.
• It updates itself. Twice a day the site checks the FCC license database. The moment the FCC grants your new license or upgrade, your call sign goes up automatically.
• Only your call sign and class. The wall shows your call sign, your new license class, and a first name only if you want one. No addresses and no other details.
• Changed your mind? Ask any club officer through the Contact page, and we will take your listing down.

ACURA’s VE team holds amateur radio license exams for all three classes: Technician, General and Amateur Extra. Check the Testing Schedule for the next session and sign up. Then sharpen up with our free Practice Exams, and read Exam Test Day so you know what to bring.

Brand new to the hobby? Start with our New Hams page, then come check in on the Thursday night net at 7:00 pm. We would love to hear your new call on the air.
