ACURA Events Calendar

The ACURA events calendar lists everything coming up at the Atlantic Coast United Radio Association. Check here for club meetings, license exam sessions, nets, hamfests and special events in South Jersey.

How to Use the ACURA Events Calendar

First, find the month you want, and then click any event to see the time, place and details. Most club events are free, and you do not need to be a member to attend. In fact, visitors are welcome at nearly everything we do.

Some activities repeat every week, so they may not appear on every date. For example, the ACURA club net meets every Thursday at 7:00 pm Eastern on our linked repeaters. In addition, the Atlantic County AUXCOMM and SKYWARN practice net runs on Monday evenings at 8:00 pm Eastern.

Plans sometimes change because of weather or other reasons. Therefore, it is a good idea to check the calendar again a day or two before an event. You can also listen on the Thursday net, since we announce changes there first.

Not on the air yet? That is fine. Many of our events are aimed at newcomers, and members are always happy to answer questions. Our New Hams page is a good place to start, and it explains how to get your first license.

Exams, Meetings and Field Day

Our volunteer examiner team holds license exam sessions during the year. To reserve a seat, see the testing schedule. Likewise, our monthly meetings are a great way to meet members in person. You can learn more on the About ACURA page.

Each June, the club also sets up for ARRL Field Day. Details for this year are on our Field Day page.

Looking for events beyond our area? The ARRL keeps a national hamfest and convention calendar. Finally, if you would like the club to add your event, please reach out through our contact page.
