As founder and Trustee of ACURA, The Atlantic Coast United Radio Association, I would like to personally extend an invite to attend one of our monthly meetings so you can see what we are all about.
“I founded this club with the intention of keeping politics and drama out of Ham Radio!” We do NOT discriminate!
Our members all respect each other, and everyone’s input is valued. You will never attend an ACURA meeting or event, where you feel left out. I have attended meetings where no one so much as raised their hand to shake mine or even asked who I was. You will be greeted with respect and made to feel at home. That is my promise to all.
We do projects and field trips to further our education in this hobby that we love.
We are people first, and the hobby is 2nd. That is our rule.
Everyone has something special that they bring to the table and we are all ears.
Whether you like to talk on the radio or just listen, you will be respected and feel like you “fit in”.
